Dan Williams is a co-founder of the firm and serves as Managing Director.

Utilizing his diverse background in investment banking, operations and strategy consulting, Dan advises public and private technology companies on mergers, acquisitions, and financings. Dan has transacted more than 75 public, private and cross-border transactions valued at more than $10 billion. He has closed strategic transactions with numerous global companies including Symantec, IBM, Intel, EMC/RSA, Cisco and McAfee. Before joining ArchPoint Partners, Dan was a Managing Director at the investment bank Montgomery where he also focused on the SaaS/software, mobility, security and services sectors.

Prior to joining Montgomery in 2004, Dan was the founder and president of Imperial Partners, a successful investment advisory firm to technology companies. Before that, he was based in Boston with Broadview International, a leading technology investment bank, where he was actively involved in transactions in a variety of markets including mobility, enterprise software, security, infrastructure, and media.

Previously, Dan spent several years in various operating and business development roles with Nortel Networks and Siemens AG, which included multiple positions within both the United States and Europe.
